I received several products from Vitacost in order to do a review. I am going to go through each one below so this will be a bit lengthy.
The Kind Plus Bar – this is gluten free, I love the natural ingredients and the fact that it has macadamia nuts – while I do not like them, they blend perfectly! The part I love the most was that once my 3 year old got a hold of this one to try, I could not get it back.
The next bar I tried was the Fit N’ Crips from Promax. I loved the flavor of this one, it is a great protein snack that is 140 calories. It is satisfying, I was not hungry for a few hours after eating it which was nice. I love eating this type of snack either right before or after working out. My oldest likes these for after school snacks.
The Pure Organic – Wild Blueberry Bar surprised me, it is gluten free, vegan and not lacking in flavor. It is 200 calories, but contains everything I look for in a snack with the gluten free, vegan and organic. It has cashews, almonds and blueberries which are all my favorites.
The NuGo Slim Roasted Peanut Bar – This one is 190 calories, this is also gluten free, all natural, and packed with protein. It is roasted peanuts dipped in dark chocolate. I am not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, I eat it because it is good for me (or better than milk chocolate). What I lied is that you can barely taste the dark chocolate, the roasted peanut is about all you can taste but it is good. I would definitely not mind having a few more of these.
Then we get to the Promax Pro Series – Peanut Butter Crisp. This is the bar my oldest son has been waiting for mom to buy him so he was thrilled to see it included in the bunch. This one is also gluten free, it is 350 calories but is packed with protein and fiber. It is also large enough that I would use it for two snack bars. I split it with my son and we both really enjoyed this one. I love peanut butter so I already knew it would be a hit.
Protein Chips from Kay’s Naturals. Chips are my weakness when it comes to snacking. These are in Parmesan flavor and were perfectly seasoned to give them flavor, the were a perfect snack. They are gluten free and packed with protein and only had 120 calories per serving. Love the options for healthy chips!
Real Salt – Nature’s First Sea Salt. I do not like salt, I use it sparingly when cooking. I used this in place of what we normally use and nobody noticed a difference, however I added it to the salt shaker on the table and it was noticed, my husband and son both agreed that it has a better flavor and texture than what I had been using. I liked that it is natural and does not include anything you do not need!
Energy 28 from Natural Vitality – this is a mix to add to your beverage. I used it in a smoothie and could not even tell it was in there by when drinking it. It does provide a nice pick me up to the afternoon without the jitters or let down. I have some days where I am exhausted by the evening, this could definitely help with that.
Earthpaste – this is a natural toothpaste. I have been wanting to try one of these for a while. I love that my 3 year old could use this because it is all natural and safe for him. I have heard about some natural toothpastes and well this is much better than what I have heard. It is peppermint flavor and I would not have known it was all natural. It worked great, and had great flavoring.
Innersense – Leave in Conditioner – this works great but has a strong perfume smell. I know some who would really like that it has a scent and the scent is good, I just prefer things that are unscented.
Neoteric Diabetic Oxygenated Advanced Healing Cream – I am not diabetic but still enjoyed this cream. I have horrible dry skin and it gets to the point that it will crack and bleed if I do not have good lotions. This cream is non-greasy but works wonders. I really like that I can wear it all the time or use it at night by putting it on my hands and my feet and cover with socks and gloves, in the morning my hands and feet are not nearly as dry.
Beyond Gourmet Unbleached Coffee Filters – I love that they are unbleached, the less chemicals that are used the better in my opinion. I used a few of these by cutting them down to fit in my single cup brewer and love them. They worked great for my teas and coffee’s. I let my husband take part of them to work where they have a brewer that could use them and they all enjoyed them. They are trying to go more natural there so it was a great opportunity to bring this to their attention!
EcoNuts Soap – I have to be honest when I first saw this, I was surprised. I had never heard of this but have always been willing to try anything. I was amazed that they work, but what I love is that they do not have the perfumes that other soaps have and I try hard to stay away from that. I like that even though my machine is an energy efficient machine, they can be used in it. Who would have thought to use a dried berry shell to do laundry, love going green!
All of the above mentioned products can be found at Vitacost, they are an online store which means they deliver to you! They always have pretty good deals which is what I love about shopping with them.
I really liked all the above products that I received for this review. There are several that I will be purchasing because my family enjoyed them. While I received these products in the hopes of obtaining a review, all statements made are my own and were not influenced.
