Disney Live Mickey’s Music Festival- Review

Today was our big day to go see Mickey’s Music Festival, I love that we received the opportunity to go and enjoy this as a family.  We arrived just as the show was getting ready to start, I loved that the staff was great about getting us directed to our seats. When I looked around, there did not appear to be a bad seat anywhere.  I have been to events where you could say you went, but you never really got to see anything, that was not the case here.  I would love to get to go one time and be down at center stage, only because I would definitely be one of them up and dancing with my kids.

I was a bit worried about our being able to stay throughout this event, my youngest is very sensitive to noise so if it is overly loud, we always leave.  This was perfect, loud enough that you could hear everything, but not too loud for my son.  It was the first show like this that we were able to stay for the entire show which was a nice change.

We had so much fun, the characters definitely keep you entertained no matter what your age.  My entire family really enjoyed themselves.  I loved The Little Mermaid and the way the sea life glowed when it was dark.  My son loved all the bright colors and even though he is at that stage where he does not want anything to do with girl things, he was glued to this part of the show.  It was so beautiful how could you not be.

Of course Bullseye was so adorable, what little boy or girl does not love Toy Story.  We have spent many hours watching Toy Story movies, I do not think kids will ever get tired of cowboys, cowgirls, horses, toy soldiers and of course space rangers.  We heard about this part of the show all through dinner so I know it was a favorite for my son.

Of course, who does not love Mickey and the gang, I do not think there will ever be a child that does not know who Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy are.  I hope that every child gets the opportunity to see the at least once in their life.  I love that they got the audience involved in singing and dancing, that is always a great part watching the children interact with the show.

I think this was the first family outing we have had with our youngest where everybody was happy and enjoyed themselves.  I really hope to get to go to more events like this and I recommend if there is a show near you that you try to go if possible.
