We got to go and see the Harlem Globetrotters play at the USF Sundome last night. I had never seen them before even though I had always wanted to. We really enjoyed the game, though we did not stay for the entire event.
I love that you do not need to be a basketball fan or even understand the game to get to enjoy the show with the Harlem Globetrotters. It was amazing to see what this group can do with nothing more than a ball and a net.
We loved the pre-game dancing, of course the Globies were so entertaining. Who does not love watching the mascots when they are entertaining a crowd.
We loved watching them as they were introducing the team, getting to watch them do their tricks was definitely something I will not forget.
Of course, once they started the game, things got quite a bit louder and even though we came prepared with ear plugs and ear muffs for my youngest, he just could not handle the level of noise. We had to leave shortly after the game started, otherwise it would have been miserable for us as well as everyone around us.
I am still glad we had the chance to go even if it was cut short, we do not go to too many events like this due to my youngest son not being able to handle the noise level, so even getting to see the pre-game events was a nice treat. Hopefully when he gets a bit older we can go see an entire show!

What fun! I saw the Globetrotters play when I was a child! I bet my kids would love it!
Love them, there shows are awesome & fun for all ages. Glad you had a good time even with it cut short.
