Tom’s of Maine – Review

This was another easy review for me to do. We already used Tom’s of Maine Children’s Toothpaste so I was happy to be able to do a post about their products. This was a first with their mouthwash though, my youngest is only 3 so I was waiting until he was old enough. I had received a sample of the Silly Strawberry toothpaste about six (6) months ago and we were hooked. It has fluoride, prevents cavities, that is the norm for toothpastes. What I like most is that it is dye free and has a great taste that has my son wanting to brush his teeth. We were at the dentist a few months back and Tom’s was one of the brands he prefers which helps assure me that I made a great decision to use it.

This was our first experience with mouthwash for my son. We received the Children’s Anticavity Flouride Rinse in Juicy Mint. I was happy to see that he did well with this. I like having that little extra protection. This mouthwash is alcohol-free and dye free yet provides the same great cavity protection as other brands. I tried it as well and wondered why adults do not get the same great flavor that the kids do.

My oldest son had lots of issues with his baby teeth due to medications making them weak. I know how important it is to find something that helps keep teeth healthy and strong, especially when the care for the baby teeth has an affect on the adult teeth. I love being able to provide my kids a toothpaste and mouthwash that provides the protection they need with flavors that make them want to develop great dental habits, yet meet my requirements of being safe and more natural for them. We used Tom’s before this review and we will definitely continue to use their products.
