We can all remember as kids being visited by the tooth fairy. My oldest son had the greatest Tooth Fairy, he received extra because he had issues with his teeth from medications he was on. Luckily we started seeing a dentist at the age of two with both of my boys which helps a lot.
I recently did a review of Tom’s of Main Toothpaste and Mouthwash for children. You can read the review here, we started using their products about six months ago and still love them. We started with their Silly Strawberry toothpaste and for the review we were able to try their new Tom’s of Maine Wicked Cool! Both of these products (as well as the others my family use) are more natural than other products. I love that my son likes using them.
I just discovered that Tom’s of Main is one of those companies that does more than make a great product, they also have a Dental Health Program – Tom’s of Maine Dental Health for All Program that helps to provide families with regular screenings and check-ups. They have donated $1 million to community dental clinics nationwide. This is just one more reason to I am happy to purchase their products. They have already helped more than 200,000 patients. What a great program and the fact that they have been doing this for 10 years is amazing.
Right now they have a great contest going – Tom’s of Maine Dental Health for All – Be a Tooth Fairy Hero Sweepstakes. This is a great opportunity to help others as well as teach your children about helping others. You will need a great drawing from your child to enter, below is my sons picture of a Tooth Fairy sprinkling her fairy dust! This sweepstakes ends March 15, 2013 so be sure to enter before then.
They are also allowing me to do a giveaway on my blog as well, you can enter below for a chance to win 1 Tube of Silly Strawberry Toothpaste. This is a great way to try them out and see if your kids are like mine and love their products!
This giveaway and the review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own. All prizing for MSM giveaways is handled by a third party unless otherwise noted. For this reason prize fulfillment can take up to 90 days after the winners information is received.

My son recently lost his first tooth! We left money and a note to stop sucking his thumb. Unfortunately the note has not worked!

Awe, I remember my oldest losing his first tooth and we had a similar note, don’t worry, he is 16 and I am pretty sure he no longer sucks his thumb!

The tooth fairy sometimes forgets to exchange the tooth for money at our house:-( We just say that she was SOOOO busy and she’ll be there tonight.
That is better than me when I forgot and tried to sneak it in, I got caught and then had to fess up that I was trying to take the money to buy my own toy. He is 16 and has still not forgotten that mom can not be trusted, lol.

After I grew up, I learned that the tooth fairy saved all my teeth and glued them on a board. It always sort of grossed me out but I think to this day, I still have them in a box somewhere.

My oldest was grossed out that I kept his baby teeth too, lol.
MY kids are 1 and 3, so too young to lose any teeth. My 1 year old has molars coming in though.
That is such a hard time, molars can be painful. Hope your little one is having an easy time with it.
I became a step mom a few years ago and kinda forgot the tooth fairy when my step daughter lost a tooth while here. I felt terrible but made up for it the next night.
Awe, we have all been there at some point. I had one night that I had absolutely no cash on me. My son lost his tooth right before bed. I was lucky enough that a neighbor helped me out because as a single parent, I could not just run out to get money when my son was asleep.
I lost 4 teeth in one day.
Did you get extra from the tooth fairy for that? Wow.

I haven’t had to play Tooth Fairy yet, but it’s going to be soon. She’s 5, and some of her classmates are already losing their teeth.
I love that look on the little ones, they are so cute when they have that missing tooth. Especially right after it happens and they are smiling big to show you.

My oldest son did that, I told him if you do not believe, then you do not get anything. He went back to pretending and I pretended he was little and we never had that conversation, lol.
I think my nieces are either too old or too young yet to have tooth fairy stories.
